Risk assessment has been a standard phrase in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Management over the last couple of decades, although many people have heard it but not so many know what it really means.
An International conference was hosted by Department of Family Resource Management, College of Home Science, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, in collaboration with Indian Ergonomic Association, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Defense Research and Development Organization, Ashok Leyland, SIDCUL, ELTEK System and Pukhiya Health Care with the title “Ergo 2012: Safety for All”.
This conference was aimed at developing a common platform for exchange of ideas concerning safety at work place between industries and academicians.
During the Conference seventeen lead papers and one hundred and sixty four papers were presented which are reflected in the structure of this book.
